By downloading, installing, or using Gallery Roulette ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Gallery Roulette is an iOS application that randomly selects and displays photos from your device's photo library. The App provides:

  • Random photo selection from your local photo library
  • A countdown animation before each photo reveal
  • An engaging, visually appealing interface
  • The ability to view multiple random photos in succession

All photo selection and display occurs locally on your device. No photos or data are transmitted from your device to our servers or any third parties.

3. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Gallery Roulette on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App's functionality
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations
  • Be responsible for maintaining the security of your device and photo library

5. Photo Library Access

Gallery Roulette requires access to your photo library to function. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that:

  • The App will randomly access photos from your library
  • You are responsible for the content in your photo library
  • Photos are accessed and displayed only on your device
  • You can revoke photo library access at any time through iOS Settings
  • No photos are uploaded, transmitted, or stored outside your device

6. Intellectual Property

Gallery Roulette, including its design, features, graphics, and code, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our explicit written permission.

7. Pricing and Features

We reserve the right to:

  • Introduce new features or subscriptions in the future
  • Modify or discontinue features (with or without notice)
  • Change the pricing structure with reasonable notice

Any changes to pricing or features will be clearly communicated through the App Store.

8. No Warranties

Gallery Roulette is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected
  • The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any unauthorized access to your photos or device
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the App

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gallery Roulette and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

11. Privacy

Your use of Gallery Roulette is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information (spoiler: we don't collect any data).

12. Updates and Modifications

We may update Gallery Roulette from time to time to:

  • Add new features or functionality

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible iOS version to receive updates. We may discontinue support for older iOS versions at any time.

13. Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App will immediately cease
  • You should delete the App from your device
  • Provisions that should survive termination (including intellectual property rights and liability limitations) will continue to apply

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Post the revised Terms on our website

Your continued use of Gallery Roulette after changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as the App Store). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

16. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Gallery Roulette from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and Gallery Roulette, not with Apple
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
  • In case of the App's failure to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund, and Apple has no other warranty obligation
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Gallery Roulette regarding the use of the App, superseding any prior agreements.
